Driveway gates
A pair made to the width of your opening and hung on heavy hinges. Hardwood for a gate that lasts, treated softwood when the budget matters more.

Side gates
For the passage down the side of the house, made to the exact gap, however awkward. Tall for privacy, or shorter for a garden path.

Painted and bespoke
Any colour you like. Willow green, anthracite, harbour blue and chalk are the ones customers have chosen in their photos. Slim frames, arched tops and slatted designs are all on the table.

Fencing and posts
Google lists them as fence contractors, and the photos show fence runs built to match the gate. A fence and gate that agree look like they were always meant to be there.

Field gates and openers.

Electric openers are in the designer as an option so you can see the guide price. Whether the team fit the motor themselves or work with an installer is for them to confirm when they visit.

Softwood
Treated softwood is the everyday choice: quick to make, takes paint well, lowest price. Left natural it weathers to a silver grey.
Iroko
A dense, oily hardwood that shrugs off the weather. Golden brown, darkening with age. A customer described its grain as beautiful and the finish as precise.
Oak
The classic. Heavy and strong, used for statement gates and for posts. Oil it to keep the warm colour.
What things roughly cost.
These come from the same guide the designer uses. They are our estimates, not Broomfield's prices. The real figure comes after they measure up.

Guide prices include making, finishing, posts where chosen, and fitting. Electric openers are supplied and fitted only if the team confirm they do that. Ranges run from about 12% under to 16% over our midpoint.
